For many illustrators the standard way of working digitally has always been to use Wacom tablets over other tablet like devices such as the iPad. Many apps exist for designers and artists to bring their drawings to life digitally however there is only so much they can do compared to Photoshop.

Astropad is an app for Mac and iOS that links your iPad and laptop together to create a drawing tablet capable of delivering the same experience Wacom delivers as well as acting as a second screen when necessary. Knowing that a good peripheral can make or break the experience Astropad also designed three special pens for illustrators to use in conjunction with the app. The device was designed by two former Apple engineers and as expected the attention to detail both digitally and physically is bound to get illustrators thinking twice about how they brink their work to life digitally.
